Some magnificent information that reaffirms the possibility of the Road Map that we defend from this page, and which is none other than that possible and accepted by the Ministry of Development and on which dates and characteristics must be stressed. All the news and commitments offered by the Ministry show a willingness to make the Southwest Corridor possible in the shortest possible time.

But we have been deceived and have not fulfilled the commitments, on the part of some and others, that with the best will, at this moment confidence is not recovered except by seeing realities and advances that allow us to improve services. And in it we will be from this page and from Extremadura in Network.

If the great milestones offered are consistent with the Roadmap, many details and small print are missing to know:

– What are the forecasts and commitments for entrances to cities, urban sections and stations? We don’t know anything yet.

– In 2019 will they be installed on the completed sections of Plasencia to Badajoz double track?

– In 2020 will the Plasencia-Badajoz route be electrified on both tracks?

– Are you aiming to have everything completed in 2023, including the Navalmoral-Toledo sections?

– In what situation is the Badajoz-Cay section?

– In 2020, will the Madrid-Lisbon service come into operation once the Portuguese complete the Évora-Elvas section?

– At the end of the works in 202, will we have infrastructures comparable to those of the rest of Spain with double track, electrified and high-speed security systems?
We believe that the Ministry and Adif are fulfilling the commitments and there is a good will to fulfill them. But to regain confidence, you have to start to see realities because commitments have already been breached many times.

We will remain vigilant until they come true. This time we cannot fail and disappoint our expectations.
