More than 150 people have claimed a ‘dignified train’ for Talavera in the concentration that, convened by the Company Committee of the Administrator of Railway Infrastructures (ADIF) in the province of Toledo, took place this Thursday at the gates of the Renfe station in the City of Ceramics.
The concentration has been carried out under the motto ‘Without train there is no future. For a decent train already ‘and in it a claim table has been presented whose common denominator is the improvements of the conventional railway line between Madrid and Extremadura, with passage and stop in Talavera.
CLAIMS
In this sense, the participants in the mobilization demand that the Administration reopen all the stations on the line closed in recent years; elimination of level crossings and reduced radius curves; the splitting and electrification of the line; the removal of speed limitations; the provision of modern trains; the recovery of the Freight trains, the Talgo and the Lusitania Madrid-Lisbon; the rise and fall of travelers and ticket sales in Villaluenga-Yuncler; and, finally, a pricing and schedule policy in accordance with the needs of the service users.
