To questions from journalists after the last breakdown registered last Saturday, which forced passengers to travel with their suitcases a kilometer on foot to the Talavera station, Ramos has called for “solutions” and that “measures be implemented timely corrective ”until the works of the AVE are executed.

“Talavera can not be giving this image,” said the councilor, who added that today he has contacted the chief of staff of the minister, the secretary general for infrastructure and the government delegate in the region to send them a dossier that includes the incidents that have taken place from July 13 to date.

The mayor has also asked for clarification of the “contradictory” information that is coming regarding the logistics platform.

In this sense, he pointed out that Talavera is “the only city in the province of Toledo” that has signed a protocol with the Ministry and the Board to develop a logistics area in the area of transport, for which reason it has demanded “that it continue, it is fulfilled and opportunities are not taken away from cities that need it to give them to others that do not need it ”.

For all these reasons, it has been reported that today a letter will be sent to the Minister of Public Works, Íñigo de la Serna, to request the improvement of the existing railway service and the station.
